Adrian Pearsall (1925-2011). He is an American designer. After a period in the Navy, he studied construction engineering at the University of Illinois, where he graduated in 1950. After only two years in the field of architecture, he began focusing on the design of furniture and in 1952 he founded Crafts with his Brother Richard Associates, Inc. in Wilkes-Barre. At first the company produced wrought iron designs, but soon specializes in wooden furniture, which will become Pearsall's label at its center and sofas tables. During the 50s and 60s, Craft Associates, Inc. becomes one of the most popular furniture companies in the United States. At that time, Pearsall's designs were considered very advanced due to their taste for the high backup armchairs and the sofas in the form of gondola; All of them characterized by wood sculptural components.
