Emotions in Motion
"Emotions in Motion" is the third album by rock musician Billy Squier. It was released in July 1982 and was the second consecutive hard Squier ranking of the Billboard album chart in the Top Five. It contains the hit song "Everybody Wants You", which peaked at # 32 on the Billboard Hot 100, and has remained at # 1 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks chart for six weeks.
Other notable successes from the album included the hit single "Emotions in Motion" and "She's a Runner". Some tracks of 'album as "Keep Me Satisfied" and in particular "Learn How to Live" also received strong radio listening and were released as singles in some countries.
Emotions in Motion is one of the most popular albums of Billy Squier, Gold and Platinum certificate in September 1982 a month later. Although the multi-platinum awards were not certified before the end of 1984, the album received a double platinum award in 1991. Emotions in Motion is also the second best selling album of Billy, after three times last year platinum Don ' t Say No.
The cover was created by Squier by Andy Warhol. It was also the first of three consecutive Squier albums to present a guest appearance of one or more of the Queen members: vocalist Freddie Mercury and drummer Roger Taylor singing the vocals on the title track. Like its predecessor, the album was produced by Squier with Reinhold Mack, also known for Queen's The Game.
